Three small things tonight: one honest question that never locks anything, a quick baseline, and your diary, set up and ready. No changes to anything yet — just the starting line.

You're not too sensitive

Maybe you've heard it a hundred times, maybe you've said it about yourself: you're too sensitive. Here's what's actually true. Your system runs at higher resolution. More comes in — sound, mood, detail, other people's feelings — and it takes more to process all of it. That's not a flaw. It's how a real share of people are built.

Nothing here is about turning your sensitivity down. It's about building a life your system can actually run. This is DBT for high sensitivity, and it's the lightest program in the set — six short weeks, real skills, no heaviness required.

How the six weeks work

What the trait actually is, how recovery works and how to speed it up, the body-and-mind basics, standing up for your own capacity, the gifts side, and a life designed around all of it. The engine is a forty-five-second overstimulation diary: when something tips you over, you log the trigger, how intense it was, whether you used a recovery practice, and about how long recovery took.

Every week, we read your numbers together — which recovery practices actually shorten your recovery time, for you specifically — and build your own recovery menu from what works. Not a universal list. Yours.

Before we start

One honest question, and it never locks anything: if overwhelm ever feels less like a trait and more like something heavier — frequent, severe, hard to shake — that's worth knowing too, and this program will point you to something built for that, as an addition, never a switch. A crisis-resources card is also one tap away, the whole way through.

Then: a short check-in called the Finely Tuned check-in, and your diary, set up and ready.
